Seems like it would be handy to have local mirrors of the apt repositories for Fedora Core 1 and the equivalent software installation repositories for the other distributions in use so that installation of new software would be much faster.
No big deal obviously, but it would be a nice little addition. |

| Setting up local mirrors is a good idea. I guess one for each data center would do the trick. I'll run it past my partners tomorrow to see about sponsoring a couple of VPS nodes for this purpose. |

| I'd really like to see a local Fedora mirror, too- but it looks like it's not going to happen anytime soon. On the other hand, does anyone have a list of 'close' repositories? |
