I have a gentoo linode, and I'm running apache 2.0.50. When I go to start apache, it fails to start, and I get this in my error_log:
Code: [Thu Sep 02 10:38:41 2004] [alert] (EAI 2)Name or service not known: mod_unique_id: unable to find IPv4 address of "hostname"
Configuration Failed
Any ideas? |

Solved...
Configured my /etc/hosts file correctly, and now it works fine. |
