i have installed slack10 small with my linode and i can't seem to connect to the net with it. no ftp or wget access at all
does anyone have any ideas on how to fix that? i can't install the packages i need without it

| I'd be surprised if there wasn't an ftp client on there somewhere, but you could always download the install package to your home machine and transfer it to your linode using sftp or scp. |

So you can ssh in but get nothing out.....hmm....
What's your resolv.conf look like? |

Oh, nobody updated this?
This problem was resolved on IRC. I don't know exactly what was wrong, but it was fixed. |
