Well. I'm not exactly sure what caused host4 to lock up. I was able to enter commands, but they just hung there -- like the system was attempting to timeout a disk. Regardless, I've upgraded the kernel to the final 2.6.10 with the most current CFQ-TS patches. Previously, host4 was running 2.6.10-rc3, with a fairly old CFQ-TS version.
I'll continue to monitor things.
