Host31's OOM killer decided to start eating Linodes this morning.
Should be a quick reboot -- updates in a few.

This is getting to be like Ten Little Indians. Any of us could be next!!!
Seriously, what's taking the kernel devs so long with 2.6.11... |

Yeah, 2.6.10's OOM killer was seriously hosed. Apparently, these bugs existing in previous 2.6 kernels as well, but some (minor?) changes that are in 2.6.10 caused it to be much more sensitive.
I apologize for these mid-afternoon reboots but they are necessary. Linode.com works hard to provide a stable environment for your Linodes and this upgrade should eliminate the OOM-killer problems.
We did test the existing 2.6.10 host kernel for a few weeks in production without any problems before upgrading these machines, but the OOM killer bug has a mind of its own.
Linodes are restarting now.
