Many customers in the IRC channel reported issues reaching The Planet's network. Most with issues reported Level3 as their last hop before The Planet in normal circumstances so it seems this was an issue related to Level3 routing to The Planet. The issue seems to be resolved. Apologies for any inconvience this may have caused.

Quote: At approximately 8:00pm, we found an issue with a dallas level 3 router that affected the entire immediate area. This caused all traffic coming in and out of level3 to be cut off. Our network engineers were immediately notified and assessed the situation. We spoke with level3 engineers and to alleviate the problem rerouted all incoming and outgoing traffic around the level3 connection. You should not be having any problems at this point.
