I've just started using Linode; I'm most impressed! :D
It would be great to be able to change the PTR records of IP addresses directly from the control panel, like I've had the opportunity to do with another VM hoster I'm with. How does the Linode staff feel about such a feature?

This has been requested a bunch of times, so we need to get on it.
The method for now is to submit a support ticket with what you want your IP to reverse to.
In the future, we'll have a managed DNS service (that will be distributed, etc).
