Host45 became unresponsive and had to be rebooted. Linodes are restarting now.

OK, it just started responding.
What's the deal with host45? If I remember right, this is not the first time we've had problems. |

It did. Nodes are coming online now.
For reference, what we think is going on with these hosts prone to crashing, is that they require a BIOS update. We'll be doing this to a few hosts first, and then will schedule the rest of the affected hosts once we're confirmed that it fixes the issue.

That makes sense ... I was surprised to realize that host45 was reverted at some point to running 2.6.7 (which it is no longer) -- considering this:

| It's still not to clear why I was getting those symptoms and the reboot fixed it. I did read the post and that is exactly what was happening but why would it happen if its not running 2.6.7? Anyways thanks for the link to the forum. At least if it happens again I will have somethning to try... |
