I'm currently trying to rsync a 50M file off my Linode and it's going REALLY slow (rsync says it will complete in 2 hours).
io_status:

load fluctuates between 0.5 and 3.0

Cpu(s): 2.4%us, 0.0%sy, 0.0%ni, 97.6%id, 0.0%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.0%si, 0.0%st
Mem: 195300k total, 183252k used, 12048k free, 10572k buffers
Swap: 263160k total, 61596k used, 201564k free, 81676k cached
It appears that I/O is the culprit. Simply executing simple things like 'ls', 'vi', etc take forever to complete....
This isn't the first time host45 gets like this. In fact it's somewhat unresponsive/slow quite a bit.
Anyone else on host45 seeing problems? |
