| If anyone's had a problem installing BitchX (ircii-pana) on the RedHat distro, you need to download the ncurses-devel package off of redhat's ftp site (log in, look for the RPMS directory). The one I just got was ncurses-devel-5.3-4.i386.rpm. |

| I"m using the gentoo disto, when I went to go emerge BitchX, it had 29 dependancies. Is the nucrses-dev package the only dependancy on the redhat distro? |

On the Redhat (Small) distro, that was the only dependancy that I needed to install (unless I installed others beforehand that I didnt notice).
Although, for gentoo, there might be only a few packages that will contain those 29 dependancies... try typing a few of the dependancies into google and it'll tell u which package you need (They usually return a page/mirror from rpmfind.net, of whose search engine doesn't seem to find these pages for me...) |

| http://bitchx.org/files/binaries/Linux/BitchX-1.0c19-Linux-glibc2.tar.gz worked for me on small redhat 9, expect it's statically compiled. |
