Hi,
I'm currently thinking about getting two linodes to provide secondary DNS and off site monitoring. I've registered an account and started the signup process but I do not see an option to choose which data centers the linodes would be located in. Is there any way I can influence where they get put as I'd like to have each one in a different site.

New accounts are currently allocated to the host with the most resources available. If you would like to be relocated, simply open a support ticket under the correct account. Migrations are instantaneous, provided you do not create any disk images. Otherwise, migrations between data centers take approximately 15 minutes per GB of disk image(s).

You are now able to choose your data center upon your first log in to the member's Dashboard (or your first "switch to" if you add a Linode to your account) as announced here:
