We were just alerted to a circuit-worth of machines being down, most likely because ThePlanet's techs are in our cage installing new equipment and probably knocked something out (as usual :() We're working on getting these machines back online as soon as possible.
Updates in a bit.

When ThePlanet provisioned the *two* circuits for the cabinet affected, they installed two power receptacles, but ran them back to the same breaker. During the installation of some new equipment onto the second receptacle (which, was supposed to be on its own breaker) it tripped the breaker.
Linodes have been restarted. Sorry for the trouble...

Phew, and I was already wondering what had made my machine reboot. :o
Say, I was wondering, why is it that we don't get an email when our Linode goes down for a reason such as this one? I mean, Lassie did a great job rebooting my machine, but I had to do some mysql table repairing manually, so it would be nice to get a notification when something happens to your host. |

| Thanks for getting this back up. One thing I had to do was manually bring back up the private IP. I guess I should add an entry in /etc/networking/interfaces so I don't have to do that again manually. |
