Atlanta has informed us that there was a power outage in a portion of the data center. We'll post more details as we receive them. Linodes should be coming up now.

Great ( or rather not great cos I'm down), but thanks.

Is it me, or is Atlanta been having a lot of network issues recently? Of my 3 linodes this is the one that has the most issues I see ...

I've got to agree; I've seen the same trend. What's the deal with their reliability? In several years as a Linode customer, I've never seen this many issues.

I have also noticed my Atlanta node having "network issues". Do any other non-Atlanta nodes have this problem? In other words, is the grass any greener on the other side(s)?

Ditto. Might it be worth it to request moving of a node to another datacenter?

I'm seriously considering it. I've always been happy with Linode as a company (more than happy, actually), but the Atlanta datacenter sucks pretty bad these days. I don't want to deal with the hassle of migrating the VPS to another datacenter, but may have no choice if any more problems hit.

I have 2 linodes in Dallas with no issues to speak of. Unfortunately, with my Atlanta linode I have a lot of legacy stuff with the IP fixed so am stuck where I am for the time being :(

I actually asked to be moved but didn't get a response to that question.. That's why I asked if there were problems with the other datacenters - maybe we're on the best and the others have more issues.. I'm in the dark here. Looking at this forum it looks like they all have problems every now and again.

I'm definitely not going to move from Linode (best I've ever dealt with!) but I could put up with a node change if it means less outages.

I haven't had any network issues myself with my Atlanta linode, nor the one I manage for my employer.

A friend in Atlanta mentioned to me that there is/was a tornado there this evening; that could have something to do with it.

I seem to be experiencing a similar problem. The dashboard indicates the system is "running" but the console indicates otherwise. I guess it's sitting tight until then :(

My node at atlanta45.linode.com is still down. Host job queue states "waiting on host".
