| It appears to be Atlanta-wide, I can't reach three different linodes on three different hosts (24, 34, 41) by any method. |

| The reply to my ticket says that it looks like an incoming DDoS attack, and they're working to squelch it. |

I've been in the Atlanta Data Center for 8 months now, and DDoS attacks that bring down connectivity for an extended period of time have happened at least half a dozen times over that span.
What is GNAX's plan to mitigate these attacks? Do we have a timeline for implementation of such a plan?
I was concerned about the effort to re-ip my domains after a Data Center move, but this continued, extended down time is making that seem like less of a hindrance to moving forward with a DC move. |

Sigh, seeing it here for the last 30 minutes as well.
I don't know if this is a similar issue, but Chris mentioned upgrading one of their links to help with some ddos troubles they've been having:

The Atlanta facility suffered from an incoming DDoS attack. We null routed the target IP and this customer has been terminated. Stay tuned for an announcement regarding Atlanta improvements in the near future.

"We"? You mean that the DDoS target was a Linode customer?
Out of plain curiosity: how long had that user been a customer? (A recent signup?) |
