Dear Linode.com Member:
I started development on Linode late-2002/early-2003, voluntarily leaving employment at a very good .com healthcare related company. I told myself that if it wasn't a success by the end of the year (2003) that I'd call it quits. And so this was the year of reckoning for me and my life-long pursuit of entrepreneurial bliss.
Linode launched June 16th, 2003. Because of you, Linode is a complete success and has a great foundation upon which to mature the service, grow, and continue to work out wrinkles; just as we've done over the past 6 months. Your suggestions and encouragement contribute to improving the overall Linode experience for everyone, and I can't thank you enough.
Please accept my eternal gratitude, and best wishes for the new year to you and yours.
Happy New Year for 2004!
Sincerely,
-Chris |

Happy New Year from us in the southern hemisphere, where we are in a tropical heat wave at the moment.
You have truly created a unique product, and have technical skills way beyond any other host I've encountered.
Best of luck in the future. |

Chris, thanks for providing a great product and great service. I hope you have enjoyed running Linode as much as I have enjoyed using it. |

Its a relief that Chris has been successful and not shut down, I agree with gmt, this is an excellent product, lets hope that linode continues to be as good as it is now.
Having bought a years worth of Linode 96 from Jan 1 , my money is where my mouth is.
My only wish is that in the New Year Chris finds a way to clone himself so support will be 24/7. |
