10:26 < miah> so, i was thinking su wasn't reading those variables properly.. - or -l should clean the environ, so i figured that was causing the problem, so i added -m (-p and --preserver-environment are the same) and that still didn't seem to help, it seemed to help randomly though if i put 'env' infront of the /home/uml/linux though
