The Kubuntu project aims to be to KDE what Ubuntu is to GNOME: an integrated distro with all the great features of Ubuntu, but based on the KDE desktop.

[edit] Kubuntu on Linode

Kubuntu is not available as a pre-built image for your Linode. Consider using vanilla Ubuntu, since the main differences between them are in the desktop packages, which you likely aren't installing on your Linode anyway. You could also try building it as a custom distribution.
