DevWeek SF provides an incredible opportunity to connect with the thousands of developers, engineers, software architects, and vendors converging on Oakland, CA, this week.
We asked Andy Stevens, Linode’s Technical Writing Lead, what he’s most interested in learning this week, and here’s what he had to say:
“DeveloperWeek has so much to offer in such a short period of time, it’s hard to choose just a few talks to go to. However, I’m most looking forward to:
Svelte – the New Kid on the Block, led by Mattes Wieben
I’m interested in the speed and simplicity that the Svelte framework offers. At Linode, the technical writing team owns the development of the documentation site, and we’re always looking for ways to improve. Perhaps Svelte could be a new path forward for us.
Embrace the Clouds on the Horizon, led by Daisy Itty
At Linode, we know that sometimes the best first approach when adopting cloud technology is a hybrid cloud. I want to learn about the best practices for deploying microservices to the hybrid cloud and the benefits of this approach.”
Our team will be at Booth 409 to chat with you about what’s new from Linode, including Object Storage, our Kubernetes beta, and new data centers. Be sure to connect with Andy about Write For Linode, our technical writing program for freelance contributors, enter our Nintendo Switch raffle (you need to be present to win!), and use the event app to get some cool Linode swag.
