New server advice please

Hi there

I have a Linode 16GB 16 GB 8 Cores 384 GB SSD 16 TB 40 Gbps running Centos 6 and cpanel.

My Linode is starting to get full (82% capacity) and I need to upgrade, however the next step up is double, including the price.

Is it possible to combine a smaller Linode (say the 8GB one) with my current Linode so it gets seen as one server but the server processing / load etc. is spread out over the 2 Linodes? Or are there other options available?

What recommendations do people have please, as I need an in-betweener.

Thanks

Nick

You might be able to use a nodebalancer for distributing load (or separate your services).. If you need storage but dont need SSD level speeds, cant you use something like an amazon S3 and mount it on your linode - although i'd only recommend it it for static stuff that isnt accessed too much.

a server is a computer program or a device that provides functionality for other programs or devices, called "clients". This architecture is called the client–server model, and a single overall computation is distributed across multiple processes or devices.
