Linode API unavailable

When using the linode-cli and doing the following command:

linode-linode -a show -l <label_name> --api-key <api_key> --json

It returns the following error message:
API unavailable: 500 Can't connect to api.linode.com:443

Seems like the API is not working correctly.

Did it work? I am having similar issues.
