Apache Upgrade issue Error: Package: perl-PathTools-3.2701-1.el5.rf.x86_64 (rpmforge)</span>

I am getting the following message while updating Apache on my server:

--> Processing Dependency: perl(VMS::Filespec) for package: perl-PathTools-3.2701-1.el5.rf.x8664 --> Finished Dependency Resolution <span class="text-danger">Error: Package: perl-PathTools-3.2701-1.el5.rf.x86</span>64 (rpmforge)
Requires: perl(VMS::Filespec)
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

According to CPanel in this thread, (https://forums.cpanel.net/threads/update-error.487491/) they suggest that this may be related to custom image from Linode?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @austinmcl200 -

I dug around a little and found this forum which might be helpful, as it looks like the error you're seeing is similar in nature, regarding rpmforge:

You may or may not have the second issue regarding Centos 7 vs. 5, but either way, have you tried removing rpmforge yet before upgrading? It sounds like that repo is no longer recommended.

Cheers,
Joe C.
