Best webmail client and protocol to use?

Hi,
I would like your advice on setting up a mail server in my Linode. I've read through this web page:
https://www.linode.com/docs/email/running-a-mail-server/
And got very useful information. However, I am new to such topic and not sure which MTA, MDA, IMAP (I guess I won't use POP3) and Webmail client I should choose, based on the capacity of my Linode, and security concern. The Spam and Virus protection would be my biggest concern, because I totally have no experience on this.

We're excited to hear about your jump into mail servers! As with most things on Linux, there are a lot of options available to you. The best fit is going to depend on your goals and your current stack.
A Linode staff member shares a number of solutions with step-by-step instructions in another community post for you to review here.
I also recommend that you familiarize yourself with basic server security and hostnames, as this will further protect your mail client.

Thank you for redirecting me to the detail instructions. I could not post a note under that link https://www.linode.com/docs/email/how-to-create-an-email-server-with-mail-in-a-box/ , that's why I have to ask the questions here.
Before I start configuring my first mail server, I would like to know if Linode allows me to use custom nameservers and set glue records? If yes, where and how to do that?
I guess the name server can be added by 'adding an NS record' in 'DNS Manager', but I am not sure what would be the subdomain.
For example, if I want to create a mail server with email accounts like info@mysite.com, I think I should add an NS record with 'Name Server' to be mysite.com, am I right? Then what would be the subdomain?
Also where is the glue record to be set?
Further more, I have several domain zones in Linode, running in the same Linode. I think I just need to install the mail server for one time, am I right? But then I have several domains (for example: mysite1.com, mysite.com, and I would like email accounts like info@mysite1.com and info@mysite2.com). How can I setup the Mail-in-a-Box?
