How do I reset my network interfaces to default settings?

Linode Staff

There's an error in my network configuration, and my Linode is no longer accessible by any of its IP addresses. How do I get my settings back to default and bring my Linode back online?

If Network Helper is disabled on your Linode, you can enable it and reboot to bring your interfaces to default settings. If you need to create a static configuration from there, you can do so by disabling Network Helper and following the instructions in our guide on Static Networking.

If Network Helper is already enabled, you can simply reboot your Linode.
