Database and kubernetes node connection

Good day! I wonder if I'll create linode database and connect my linode kubernetes cluster to it, will traffic count, or it will be free?

Communication between your database Linode and your LKE cluster will be counted as inbound traffic towards your network transfer pool, assuming the traffic takes place between public IPv4 addresses. Traffic would not count against your transfer quota if you were to use private IP addresses, if your Linode and LKE cluster are in the same data center. LKE does not currently support IPv6 (it's on our radar for future updates), but that would be another example of traffic that doesn't count towards the network transfer quota. We have a guide here that explains what traffic counts towards your network transfer quota.
