Unable to connect to phpmyadmin on ubuntu 20.4
I am setting up a new server with Ubuntu 20.04 & following the Linode docs for Ubuntu 18.04. All is well until I try and open up phpmyadmin in the browser to load the database. Message I am getting is -

The requested URL was not found on this server.
Apache/2.4.41 (Ubuntu) Server at [ip address] Port 443
Any pointers appreciated.

Your web server is not configured correctly. Did you test your configuration?
sudo apachectl configtest
-- sw
Thanks @stevewi - Not sure what that means, but it gives me somewhere to start looking. I'll let you know how I get on.

@gibney --
sudo /usr/sbin/apachectl configtest
tells apache to do a syntax check on your apache configuration and report errors.
This might help too:

Ubuntu is a downstream derivative of Debian.
-- sw
It might also help to know what doc you followed.
Ubuntu (or any distro really) won’t come with PhpMyAdmin installed out-of-the-box, which is what the error you’re seeing is suggesting.
I could only find this doc for installing PhpMyAdmin on Ubuntu 14.04, but it should largely still be relevant and might give you some more pointers if not:
