Is the Centos 8 Stream distro officially supported?

I can see versions of it on linode mirrors - but it doesn't show as an available image.

Hey there -

The short answer is no, we don't officially support CentOS 8 Stream at this time. That said, I have expressed your interest in it to the team.

This distros we support right now are the mainline CentOS 6, 7 and 8.

If you want to install a custom distribution on your Linode, you can do so. We have another post here in the Community that explains how:
