Step by step to migrate to Linode

Hello everyone. Sorry for this newbie question but as much as I read many article I kinda feel a bit loss.

I've been instructed that in order to use Linode is best to hire a sys admin to configure the server for my WordPress Hosting.

However I created an account an found a very simple one-clik install for WordPress app.

I've been also suggested to use a Control Panel as CyberLink to install on Linode and manage everything.

How would you set up things, as I only work with wordpress websites and do you have anything to suggest?

Thank you so much

Don't apologize! We were all new at one point.

We have some guides on migration that do a really nice job of mapping out the process for you, so I will link those to you here:

How to Migrate a WordPress.com Website to Linode

Migrate from Shared Hosting to Linode

Best Practices when Migrating to Linode

Those above guides should give you what you need to migrate your hosting over to us. If you need help with the migration, we have a Professional Services team that you can hire to do it for you.

If you need some help with basic system administration, we also have resources for you which you should find helpful:

Linux System Administration Basics

I'm glad you discovered our WordPress One-Click App! Our Marketplace is designed to make getting your services up and running as easy as possible. The guide I linked just now will give you all of the basics of setting up your WordPress instance once the WordPress Linode is deployed.

I hope this helps! Feel free to respond with any additional questions you might have. We're always happy to help you out as much as we can.
