Blocky Images. Installing GD Library Didn't Help.

Hello everyone!

I recently got a VPS and have got it all set up and configured. I then installed Wordpress and then I saw that the images on my site were very blocky and pixelated. There was an error message with the pics saying that I needed to install GD Library, which I did.

I am running the latest version of CentOS.

Here is what I did.

yum install gd gd-devel php-gd

and then I restarted apache with..

service httpd restart

The error messages are gone however the images remain the same.

If any of you guys have any suggestions I'd really appreciate it!

:D

It might be because your current images are already processed. try adding new images and see if the problem persists

You're right!

Thanks so much.
