Centos reverts to GMT

Occasionally, my Centos Linode will revert to GMT. I end up re-running:

ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/US/Pacific /etc/localtime

And all is well.

Is there a way to keep the timezone from reverting?

Yes, you need to set the timezone in /etc/sysconfig/clock. Create it if it doesn't exist and add

ZONE="US/Pacific"
