Performance upgrade provided free to all customers, new apps in Marketplace

The rollout of NVMe block storage started this month in our Atlanta data center. Our first erasure-coded block storage cluster powered by NVMe drives comes with significant performance improvements. As NVMe becomes more available, you’ll have the opportunity to upgrade to faster hardware while paying the same price for your volumes. More specifications on the performance improvements are coming soon, but you can read about our NVMe rollout here. We’re also sharing news about object storage availability, new apps in the Linode Marketplace, and more.
