Es ging fast unbemerkt vorbei, aber heute markiert Linode's sechsten Geburtstag. Heute vor sechs Jahren öffnete Linode seine Türen für den Geschäftsbetrieb und seitdem haben wir geholfen, unsere Branche zu definieren - und eine der angesehensten VPS-Marken aufgebaut. Wir haben über die Jahre ein phänomenales Wachstum genossen, unsere Funktionen und Angebote ständig verbessert und waren gleichzeitig in der Lage, einen besseren Wert an unsere Kunden weiterzugeben. Und wir werden diesen Trend fortsetzen - bleiben Sie dran für einige spannende Ankündigungen. Auf unserer Roadmap gibt es immer wieder tolle Dinge, die auf uns zukommen.
Außerdem haben wir einige Neueinstellungen zu verkünden - bitte begrüßen Sie mit mir zwei neue Mitglieder in unserem Team:
Jed Smith hat zu Beginn des Monats eine Stelle als Systementwickler angenommen. Er kommt den ganzen Weg von Phoenix, AZ über Eugene, OR, über Detroit, MI. In den letzten Wochen ist er wie ein Kind im Süßwarenladen durchgedreht und hat die Architekturen unserer Systeme und die dazugehörigen Tools kennengelernt. Ich kann schon jetzt sagen, dass er hier gut reinpassen wird.
Sam Kleinman ist auch dem Linode-Team beigetreten und hat eine Position als technischer Redakteur für eine neue Bemühung angenommen, die wir auf die Beine stellen. Bleiben Sie dran für mehr Details dazu. Sam ist ein produktiver Blogger, zwanghafter Stricker und *Nix-Tüftler. Er zieht von St. Louis, MO, hierher und wir freuen uns auf seinen Beitrag.

Wow, has it really been 6 years!?! That’s really hard to believe in one respect, but when I think about how long ago it was that Chris and I were working at a firm here in Nashville it seems like AGES ago.
Congratulations to the entire Linode team for the tremendous amount of hard work and awesome accomplishments over the years. It’s been truly amazing watching Linode become Linode; I’m really proud of you guys.

@ella – I’ll second that comment! I love how reliable you guys are – I literally do forget about my linode account from time to time. It’s just there, and always works….
Regarding the comment about offering cPanel and managed servers, I’m afraid I disagree. I’m one who can’t stand managed servers – if we came to linode, we generally know our way around linux – and I for one love having a company who caters to our needs.
