Linode Expands Cloud Solutions For Developers, Launches Dedicated CPU Instances

Philadelphia, February 6, 2019 – Linode, the leading cloud for developers, today announced the release of its new Linux cloud instance type: Linode Dedicated CPU. Dedicated CPU provides a powerful infrastructure solution for CPU-intensive applications such as video encoding, machine learning and data analytics processing. Linode customers can now choose from a broader range of cloud servers for nearly any application, from quickly launching a gaming server to scaling enterprise software worldwide.

Developers can easily deploy a dedicated instance in just a few seconds with minimal configuration. Simply choose from a range of Dedicated CPU plans starting at $30 for 2 vCPUs with 4GB RAM, 25GB storage and 4TB transfer. For those that need maximum processing power, plans graduate up to 48 vCPUs and 96GB RAM. Additional add-on solutions include Backups, Block Storage, NodeBalancers and coming soon Object Storage, for those that need to store and deliver large amounts of content. All plans come with our award-winning 24/7 customer support, access to the Linode Community and developer knowledge-base.
