I can `t connect to smtp.gmail.com
First i install php application and configure smtp script for send emails by smtp, but have problem with connection, later i decided check connection by telnet
telnet smtp.gmail.com 587
And nothing!
I use arch linux.
Plase, help me)

If you recently opened your Linode account (after November 5, 2019) your Linode has SMTP restrictions in place by default. You'll need to reach out to Linode Support via a ticket in Cloud Manager in order to have the SMTP blocks removed. Before we can remove the restrictions, you'll need to have a valid A record and rDNS set up on your server. This blog post has more information about the rationale behind this restriction.
