Unable to Connect after Resize

In order to have access to some more RAM I resized my linode (larger), but after doing so I am unable to ssh in. When I log in using lish (which I am able to do), I am able to verify that port 22 is indeed open. However, when I ping google.com, I am not able to get a response. The sshd process is running (ps aux | grep ssh confirms this). I am also unable to do basic things like use apt update to check for new package versions.

It seems something is wrong with my internet connection and maybe firewall. Any tips here? I am not very familiar with iptables.

I also saw somewhere that my issue might be something to do with a change in filesystem caused by the resize. Any tips here as well?

Thanks for any help!

IMHO, this is really unlikely… Not being able to ping google.com make me think that your firewall is blocking ICMP…not that there's anything wrong with DNS. I'm loath to ask you to upload your firewall configuration for the world to see (bad actors are everywhere). Check to see if iptables is blocking port 53 (tcp/udp)…that's the port for DNS.

For you login problems, you might try uploading your public key again.
