How to import domain using autorization code?

My domain name was pointed to my hosting at powweb.com. I requested powweb to cancel my account so they gave me the authorization code. Now I want to import my domain to my linode. How can I do it? I tried adding a new domain and it doesn't have anywhere for me to enter the authorization code. Importing zone option I had no clue what it means. When I check my domain it shows that its registered at domain.com

There's a process you have to follow to move a domain name to another registrar. You need to contact domain.com to find out what it is and follow it.

Once the steps are complete on the domain.com side, you need to contact Linode tech support to complete the process on the Linode side.

You should file a support ticket about this…

This is not what you described in your OP so now I'm confused. What you described in your OP was making Linode your new registrar… Did I miss something…or did you change your mind?
