SSL_ACCEPT error & lost connection after STARTTLS

I worked my way through the postfix + courier + mysql tutorial in the linode library. I am currently able to receive email properly, as well as connect via imap from my mail client.

I am working now on being able to send via smtp from my mail client (Apple Mail) but continuously get the following errors. Can anyone provide input on how to begin troubleshooting this?
