mailx doesn't work

Hi! I'm a linux noob setting up my new Ubuntu 10.04 Linode.

I was following the tutorial on setting up Postfix here:

But when I got to the entering the mailx bob@avionio.com part, after setting the Cc: and Subject: fields, the shell just froze forever. It still doesn't appear to be doing anything.

What could be the problem?
