È passato quasi inosservato, ma oggi ricorre il sesto compleanno di Linode. Sei anni fa Linode ha aperto i battenti e da allora abbiamo contribuito a definire il nostro settore, costruendo uno dei marchi VPS più rispettati. Nel corso degli anni abbiamo registrato una crescita fenomenale, abbiamo migliorato costantemente le nostre funzionalità e offerte e siamo stati in grado di offrire ai nostri clienti un valore migliore. E continueremo con questa tendenza: restate sintonizzati per alcuni annunci entusiasmanti. Nella nostra roadmap ci sono sempre cose interessanti in arrivo.
Inoltre, abbiamo annunciato alcune assunzioni: unitevi a me nel dare il benvenuto a due nuovi membri del nostro team:
Jed Smith ha accettato la posizione di sviluppatore di sistemi all'inizio del mese. Viene da Phoenix, AZ, da Eugene, OR, da Detroit, MI. Nelle ultime settimane è impazzito, come un bambino in un negozio di caramelle, per conoscere le architetture dei nostri sistemi e gli strumenti associati. Posso già dire che si troverà bene qui.
Anche Sam Kleinman si è unito al team di Linode, accettando una posizione di redattore tecnico per un nuovo sforzo che stiamo mettendo in atto. Restate sintonizzati per ulteriori dettagli in merito. Sam è un blogger prolifico, un magliaio compulsivo e un tweaker *nix. Si sta trasferendo qui da St. Louis, MO, e non vediamo l'ora di ricevere il suo contributo.
Linode è stato un privilegio da gestire. Apprezziamo molto la vostra attività. Quindi, a nome del team Linode, voglio ringraziare voi, i nostri clienti, per aver reso possibile il nostro successo.

Wow, has it really been 6 years!?! That’s really hard to believe in one respect, but when I think about how long ago it was that Chris and I were working at a firm here in Nashville it seems like AGES ago.
Congratulations to the entire Linode team for the tremendous amount of hard work and awesome accomplishments over the years. It’s been truly amazing watching Linode become Linode; I’m really proud of you guys.

@ella – I’ll second that comment! I love how reliable you guys are – I literally do forget about my linode account from time to time. It’s just there, and always works….
Regarding the comment about offering cPanel and managed servers, I’m afraid I disagree. I’m one who can’t stand managed servers – if we came to linode, we generally know our way around linux – and I for one love having a company who caters to our needs.
