maybe i’m going crazy… but didn’t linode 100’s already have 4096mb? if so i’m confused as to how we gained 1024mb.
regardless.. i love my linode. can’t say it every day, but there are a lot of times when it comes in very handy, and for $20 a month, it can’t be beat!

I have a Linode 100 myself, and I haven’t yet made use of the recent upgrade. But yes, it did already have 4096 MB, but only if you were paying annually. Meaning, if you’re paying annually for a Linode 100, judging by my calculations, you’d end up with a total of 6144 MB of disk space.
So now I’ve been moved from host10 to a faster host and I’ve been given extra disk space all in one go and all for free. This reminds me yet again why I have always chosen subconsciously not to move away despite other providers marketing Xen VMs. Thank you Caker. I was just beginning to approach my last 25% of disk space.
