SSH Login on Windows 7
I have booted my Linode and run Putty.
I added the Public IP address to Putty.
When I click OK and enter 'root' then my password, I get the message 'Access Denied'.
What could be causing this?
What further information can I provide to help resolve this?

It is strongly suggested to using SSH keys, and only SSHing as a regular user. You can create a new user with the interactive adduser command on debian, or useradd on other distros.
