Compiling Perl Modules with MCPAN (debian)

Hi

I'm trying to compile a number of perl modules using MCPAN on debian, but the makefile can't be created, thus it cannot make. Does anyone have a list of needed packages to make this work?

I already have automake, gcc, make, autoconf

Any ideas what else I need?

Dan

As I hit post I realized I probably need to upgrade perl 5.6 (debian stable) to Perl5.8

so nevermind

EDIT: yup, that did the trick…
