looks like it took out all of linode and their servers MY server had no outside connection.

Yeah, it sounded like the first UPS failed, and the second took over, but due to a faulty circuit breaker, it couldn't handle the sudden spike, and started flapping. Lovely. :)

I'm just glad it wasn't a caved-in roof during a rainstorm, or something like that. But no matter, I'm hosted in the other datacenter. :)
