qemu-system-x86_64 not working

Is it possible to run qemu-system-x86_64 to virtualize ISO's inside a linode server. I tried running this inside and ubuntu 20 4GB server and the following error pops:

Could not access KVM kernel module: No such file or directory

Is nested virt not allowed?

Thanks
