"Spam" Reports

Hello,
Looking for some advice on the topic of "Spam"
So I have a few dating sites I have been running for over 10 years , which are long established , reputable and have good industry rap.We have about 80,000 members on our database many have been with us for years. Our dating sites are on the Eastern European niche, foreign men seeking Eastern European women. We have lots of activity on the web sites, messages, chats, matches, user views and so on so thousands of notifications every day. We have many many happy couples and marriages from the web sites.

All sign ups are confirmed, and all members have clear notifications to unsubscribe from any notifications or ask to be deleted from the web site.Everything is crystal clear. Over the last 5 years with LINODE we basically had nearly zero "Spam " reports. In the last 2 weeks we suddenly getabout 10 "spam" reports. Messages / Notifications have been reported as spam by members.

So I have to concerns ..

  1. Is it normal to get a few "Spam " reports ?

  2. Any suggestions to reduce "Spam" reports?

One of the main issues is that all the reports are from the ladies , over the last 10 years much has changed on the behavioral side ofthings for the ladies. Many years ago ladies were happy to register at any site on the hope of meeting a foreign guy, today that has changed , the women are notdesperate to leave their country anymore so many sign ups are out of curiosity (We are high up in search results and use paid ads) many womenwill sign up and asked to be deleted within a day or two, understanding it is not for them.

Some women will ask to be deleted then two days later complain "Why can I not log in" ??? And make complaints , we have to explain they asked to be removed from the web site. So they will rejoin.

Some women will get messages from guys 40/50 years older than themselves ( Cos lots of guys still think Russian women marry old grand pas)So they get irate write to us asking why all these old men are writing to them, we have filters clearly indicated but no one takes much notice, they would rather complain.

Some women get a bit ratty and complain and ask us to remove them immediately, even though everything is clearly in front , how to remove your profile.

Some women are happy to just sit shouting at men asking why they are interested in them and so on..

All members' behaviour is different and I'm guessing some women just report "Spam" for the sake of it.
Though as I said its just been about 10 reports over 5 years and all in the last two weeks.

From which entity are these reports coming? Linode? An RBL? Which RBL?
