Connecting to other instances over private ip address and open vpn.

Hi all.
I have two compute instance's, on A i have installed OpenVpn and on B Node red. I enable Ip sharing so i can ping each other, UFW fire wall also set so all ports are open for each other.
I was thinking i will be able to reach Node red while i'm connected to Open Vpn but not working, connection time out.
I'm new to vps and i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong.
