IP Allocation Policy for Linode Boxes

Hi,

We have around 15 Linode servers created and accessed on a daily basis. Right now the boxes are allocated with static IPs.

Is it likely that Linode will change the IPs often?

Where can I find if there is an IP range allocated for the box or not?

Thanks in advance.

DANGER WILL ROBINSON! DANGER! DANGER!

If you’re going to base some programming logic on Linode’s IP address allocation strategy, you’re going to be skating on very thin ice.

You don’t know how it works (hence your question) and you can’t control it!
