Can Linode be used to comply with current EU Data Protection laws?

Hey there

The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) ruled in July 2020 finding the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield inadequate for lawfully transferring the personal data of EU residents from the EU to the United States.

Accordingly, a number of measures would need to have been taken to comply with European data protection laws (new Standard Cntractual Clauses, possibly in an addendum to the GDPR on data processing). Where can we found this?

Hey @relax!

You can find all of our legal documentation at our Legal & Compliance Center. This includes the Linode EU Model Contract, Privacy Shield Notice, and Data Processing Addendum.

I hope this helps!
