How do I apply my 100 credit

Hello team,

I just started using linodes for a school class last month, and only just saw that you could get 100$ credit, though I can't seem to "activate" it. I hope you can help, thanks in advance!!

I will add to this discussion due to being in a similar situation.

I have just created an account. My intent was to use a promo code from "The Linux Experiment" Youtube channel to get a $100 starting credit. However, clearly my memory did not serve me well and apparently I was supposed to sign up via an affiliate link rather than creating an account and using a coupon code.

Obviously this now feels pretty bad. Is there anything you can do to fix this, such as simply applying the credit to my account directly or providing a coupon code to achieve the same, or should I delete this account and create a new one from scratch via the affiliate link.

I would personally prefer not to have to jump through hoops on a technicality just to get a promotion that you are still offering and which I intended to use from the start.

I was also a bit annoyed to see that I was unable to create a support ticket to ask this question as you cannot post a support ticket without creating a linode instance which I won't be doing until this situation is resolved.

Please if you are free do help that would be extremely appreciated! @isackey

Hi there – please open a ticket about this and we'd be happy to help:

@DYSEQTA you're able to create a ticket without first creating a Linode instance.
