Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) with ec2 kernel on Linode

Hi all,

Just wanted to report that I've managed to install the latest Ubuntu 9.10 on a Linode, following the custom-distro-howto.

Karmic will be officially released at the end of this month, and I was curious to see if the linux-image-ec2 kernel supplied by Ubuntu works for Linode too.

I'm running kernel 2.6.31-302-ec2 with pv-grub and everything seems to be fine, /proc/sys/xen is there, although this is just an experiment of course.

Cheers

Mirko
