* Will NodeBalancers be able to split traffic into different facilities for better failover?

Do NodeBalancers support SSL? Does it use SNI? If not, how do we put SSL enabled sites behind it?

No, they only work with nodes in the same facility as the NodeBalancer. Use TCP mode to route non-HTTP requests to your backend Linodes.
